Writing Coach Services:
Acting As Your Guide and Teammate
Coaching and teaching are something I am uniquely passionate about. After having a career as a professional-level athlete, I understand the benefits, pitfalls, and challenges of coaching. First and foremost, I want you to succeed. My goal in being your writing coach is to help you tell the best story you can in your own words.
There are a great number of resources for writers out there. In addition to acting as a coach, I will try and curate data specific to you and your needs. Books, podcasts, blogs, and Masterclasses, I have used many of them and will help you find what works for you.
What Exactly is Offered as a Writing Coach
As your own personal writing coach, I will review your work in whatever phase it is in to get an idea of what your strengths and weaknesses are. After that, and after we talk (so that I can understand what your goals are as a writer), we can either work on your work-in-progress together and/or go through writing exercises. No matter the level of success or stage you’re in, having a writing coach in your corner will bring out your best writing. My intent is to push you in directions you haven’t gone before and think of themes, concepts, and stories, differently.
When we come to an agreement on what your goals and needs are, we can set up a schedule. Nowadays we have access to various calling or video calling methods. Whether we meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly, we can work together, building a consistent writing routine for you.
*It should be noted that I can offer writing coaching while also working with you in another capacity/service.
